Club Sandwich

This triple decker started with a whole wheat bun, and featured sauerkraut and a spicy chickpea panelle center. A nice Saturday lunch treat.

VEG began as the Vegetable Eating Group, or perhaps Vegetarian Epicurean Group, or maybe even Very Eager Gastronomers. A group of friends decided in the summer of '05 to get together for vegetarian outings. Too often our local restaurants cater to the meatheads while neglecting the veggie options. No more plain-Jane pasta dishes - give us rare, tasty, diverse plant-based meals! We have found that by organizing and working with restaurants that we can have fantastic dining experiences.
